FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: essence of this method resides in comparing color perception threshold with darkness adaptation time registered during progress of visual work done by test subjects. Note that increase in color perception thresholds by more than 15 % in combination with decrease in darkness adaptation time as compared with original values is indicative of visual fatigue and increase in color perception thresholds by more than 15 % in combination with increase in darkness adaptation time by more than 15 % is indication of visual overfatigue. EFFECT: greater accuracy of diagnosing visual fatigue.
