FIELD: chemical instrumentation engineering. SUBSTANCE: absorber has case with inlet and outlet pipe unions for liquid and gas that accommodates liquid flow splitting device. Novelty is that two parallel vertical partitions installed in still form collectors for circulating and waste solutions and channel is provided between partitions to transfer liquid from one collector to other; circulating solution partition is secured at certain distance from absorber bottom and protrudes on top above liquid level.
