FIELD: heat-and-mass exchange processes. SUBSTANCE: checker is made in form of inclined plates covering the section of apparatus and forming clearance for passage of gas. Inclined plate consists two parts which are not fastened together but each part is secured to cylindrical shell which is open on side of free edges of inclined plate and is provided with device for mounting the wedge on free ends. EFFECT: reduction of cost of treatment of gas or liquid due to high productivity and/or enhanced efficiency. 3 dwg
