FIELD: material working processes. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of imparting to a part and a tool relative motion in three mutually normal planes according to approximation points, providing a path from one point to another along crossing pieces of helical lines with the same parameters of the helical line portions. Projections on one of the planes are in the form of crossing circle arcs and on the two other planes - in the form of crossing sine portions. A number of helical portions is being determined according to a mathematical expression, given in a description of the invention. EFFECT: enhanced quality of worked surfaces. 3 cl, 2 dwg
