Rocking lever 20 is provided for each pair of strips 12a, 12b to act upon strips by two arms 21a, 21b, with third arm 21c being acted upon by toothed rack 4. Strips 18a, 18b are pivotally attached to each strip 12a, 12b and carry pressure units 23 rigidly secured to their lower ends. Pressure units 23 are extending along the whole length of working zone Z. Channels are adapted to guide simultaneous oscillations in opposite directions during their motion in vertical plane. As a result mutual position of pressure units 23 for holding loops may be changed. A row of loop holding members is positioned at the leading and tailing ends of working zone Z.
