FIELD: handling of spun cops. SUBSTANCE: method involves arranging tray-shaped steaming reservoir adjacent to spinning machine in parallel with cops arranged in row on spinning stations; transferring cops by means of transfer device from spinning station into steaming reservoir and, upon steaming, conveying cops from steaming reservoir onto conveyor of spinning machine. Thus steaming process is included into processing flow of spinning machine. Thus steaming process is included into processing flow of spinning line. Time of holding cops may be selected randomly.
