FIELD: hydraulic technology. SUBSTANCE: during water intaking process drive, made in the form of blade wheel, makes nose to rotate, cutting layer of water with maximum concentration of fish fry. Due to fixation along nose inner surface periphery of frightening off members, having positive buoyancy, water transient dynamic screen is formed at lower part of sucking head, that frightens fish fry off. Cleaned from garbage and fish fry water enters head through clearance, formed by butt part of head and inner surface of nose.
