FIELD: hydroelectric power engineering. SUBSTANCE: bypass canal is located on river bank in parallel to the river bed. It is linked with river bed by straightline pipes. Turbines are located just after outlet sections of pipes. Turbines are connected with power generators. Water from river bed is fed by pipes to turbines and using bypass canal is dumped in river downstream. EFFECT: river hydroelectric power station is used in hydroelectric power engineering. 3 dwg
