SUBSTANCE: impulse noise smoothing device that has comparators, two groups of delay elements, and switch, is provided in addition with ripple filter, OR gate, two read-only storage units, and delay unit whose data input functions as data input of device. Device provides for effective suppression of impulse noise in structural signal by its selective averaging. High speed of response provides for efficient use of device in high-speed signal processing systems, such as those for real-time processing of television pictures. EFFECT: improved filtering accuracy of structural signals in case of impulse noise. 3 dwg
