FIELD: powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: process of manufacture of permanent magnet involves preliminary milling of alloy, grinding, compacting in magnetic field, sintering and thermal treatment. Billets are compacted from powder based on iron and containing boron, cobalt and at least one element selected from group including gallium, scandium, beryllium with following proportion of components, atomic per cent: boron 5.0-9.0; cobalt 0.01-19.0; and at least one element selected from group including neodymium, praseodymium, terbium, laudanum, cerium, dysprosium, 14.5-20.0; at least one element from group containing molybdenum, aluminium, titanium, niobium 0.01-3.0; at least one element selected from group containing gallium, scandium, beryllium 0.005-2.2; iron being the balance. Prior to sintering powder is preliminarily kept in vacuum at 300-400 C for the course of 0.16-0.30 H, after this it is cured in vacuum repeatedly at 700-900 C for the course 0.5-1.5 H to restoration of vacuum of 10-3 mm Hg.
