FIELD: secondary power supplies. SUBSTANCE: voltage changer has line rectifier with filter, regulated single-ended transducer, and control and protective system. Relaxation generator, one more single-ended transducer, second rectifier diode, additional filter, and degenerative-type voltage regulator are introduced in voltage changer. Control and protective system affords stepless starting at specified speed depending on fixed-current source. Pulse-frequency modulation of control pulses is effected during starting period by means of regulated single-ended transducer followed by stepless transfer to pulse-width modulation mode upon starting.
