FIELD: machine-tool industry. SUBSTANCE: drilling head has case 1 whereto motor 2 is secured. Spindle 3 with a threaded and slot parts is positioned within the case. The spindle is kinematically coupled with the motor through gear wheels mounted on shafts 4,5,6 ends of which are outside of the case. A change- gear train is set on the shafts. The gears of the change-gear train are mounted in race 27 at the same distance between their centers and have different numbers of teeth. Each of the gears of the change-gear train can be set on each of the shafts 4,5,6. The other two gears can be set on a pair of the other shafts. A distance between shafts 4,5,6 is equal to the distance between gear centers. This provides six different speeds of rotation and, hence, six different axial feeds of the spindle. EFFECT: improved design. 5 dwg
