FIELD: photometric determination of titanium. SUBSTANCE: method consists in conversion of titanium into ionic associate with brompyrogallol red and crystalline violet and its flotation at pH 0.75-0.83 with toluene and subsequent disintegration with ethanol and separation of crystalline violet into amount equivalent to titanium amount. Quantitative registration is effected by photometric evaluation of toluene-ethanol extract at 590 nm. Associate formation conditions: concentration of brompyrogallol red (1.6-2.4) (1,6-2,4)·10-4 M and concentration of crystalline violet (1.2-1.6) (1,2-1,6)·10-4 M. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 tbl
