FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device for arcless switching of D. C. and A.C. circuits has busses 10,11 of power supply source, busses 12, 13 of controlling voltage source, load 9, electromagnetic relay 5 with closing contact 6, first p-n-p transistor 1, second n-p-n transistor 2, first 3 and second 4 optrons built on pairs of light-emitting diode-phototransistor and first resistor 7. It is inserted with second resistor 8. Collectors of phototransistors of first 3 and second 4 optrons are coupled through first resistor 7 to base of first transistor 1. Emitters of these phototransistors are intercoupled and linked to base of second transistor 2. Anode of light-emitting diode of first optron 3 is connected to cathode of light-emitting diode of second optron 4 and through second resistor 8 - to first lead-out of winding of electromagnetic relay 5 and first bus 12 of controlling voltage source. Cathode of light-emitting diode of first optron 3 is connected to anode of light-emitting diode of second optron 4 and is coupled to second lead-out of winding of electromagnetic relay 5 and to second bus 13 of controlling voltage source.
