FIELD: breaking of rod and tubular materials by measured blanks. SUBSTANCE: after adjustment of the installation (by mounting the respective - size pin 22 on the lower wedge 20 and the support 4 on the housing 10 and by joining a vertical axis 44 of the plasmatron 25 with the vertical plane 45 of the support 4, detecting an effort of pressing down the stepped rod 33 to a template of the flat car 28 with use of adjustable protrusion 34 and the spring 37, displacement of the rest 7 by a predetermined distance with the aid of the screw 8) the material to be broken is being fed by the feed mechanism 5 up to the rest 7. Then the material is being clamped by energizing the pneumatic cylinder 18 with use of two-arm lever 14, wedges 19, 20 and the pin 22. The power cylinder 38 had been energized, with the aid of L-shaped strut 42 and the strip 26 the flat car 28, moving on a surface of the material, having circular cross section, with use of the plasmatron 25, mounted on the car, performs an uniform-depth cut-out, having length, no less, than 1/4 of the material circle length. Then the breaker 2, being moved downwards by the drive unit 3, divides the blank with clean end and feeds it on a trough and on a roller table. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 cl, 6 dwg
