FIELD: hardening of machine elements. SUBSTANCE: device comprises container 2 flexibly mounted on base 1 and having corrugated plates 4 loaded by springs 3 from the side of cover 6 and capable of reciprocating motion in the plane perpendicular to the base, cover 6 secured on brackets 5 rigidly fastened to base 1, and vibrator 7. Small parts are treated in container 2 in a loose state. Large parts are fastened to cover 6 by means of special device 8 and can be slowly rotated by motor 9. EFFECT: higher energy of dynamic interaction between particles of working medium and the treated surface, higher circulation speed of charge mass, increased uniformity and efficiency of hardening. 3 dwg
