FIELD: finish hardening of parts. SUBSTANCE: device comprises container 1 installed flexibly on intermediate plate 3 also flexibly installed on base 2 and carrying a vibrator 4, and container bottom 5 rigidly connected to plate 3. Said bottom can vibrate vertically relative to container 1. In the course of treatment, the mass of the charge is alternately compacted and loosened which steps up the treatment efficiency. Hatch 10 in the upper part of container serves for loading workpieces and working medium while unloading hatch is located in its lower part. Sectional toothed insert loaded from above by spring 7 is installed on axle 6 rigidly connected with bottom 5 of container 1. Said insert consists of individual wedge-like links transmitting motion to one another via springs accommodated in link slots. This arrangement imparts wavelike compaction pulse to the loaded mass thus improving uniformity, quality and efficiency of treatment. EFFECT: improved design. 2 dwg
