FIELD: current collectors of electric rolling stock; diagnostics. SUBSTANCE: device has program element in form of contact wire secured on carrier cable by means of rigid braces and engaging with current collector pan. Contact wire is arranged along track axis. Device has also register unit and tear off pickup. Program element is bent in vertical plane along sinusoid and is secured on carrier cable in horizontal plane so that upper sections of sinusoid are connected in turn at different sides relative to track axis, and lower sections are connected along axis. Device provides plotting of frequency characteristic of current collector with due account of real operating conditions. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of diagnosing. 2 dwg
