FIELD: aeronautical engineering. SUBSTANCE: swivel movable of the wing have initial load at all stage of flight in the feathering mode corresponding to g-load coefficient of whose magnitude is reduced to values equal to 1 as the vehicle reaches the cruise mode. Method may be effected with wing whose swivel tip 2 is linked with outer wing panel 1 by means of flexible members of adjustable stiffness located in mutually perpendicular planes. Besides that, two other versions of making the wing are available. EFFECT: enhanced flight characteristics of flying vehicle through increase of relative mass of useful load due to reduction of loads at modes defining the strength characteristics and fatigue life. 4 cl, 11 dwg
