FIELD: textile mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: machine has frame support unit for drum or roller mounted onto the frame, mechanism for stretching by toothed tape provided with tension unit, sharpening mechanism provided with support with grinding head. Tool head provided with drive is mounted onto the support. Support unit has rigid guide onto which two posts are disposed, mounted for longitudinal and lateral displacement relatively the guide. Mechanism for stretching by toothed tape has two arms mounted onto the frame; cylindrical guides with posts are fixed between the arms. The posts are connected together by axis. Slab for tension unit and guiding unit for saw-toothed tape are fixed onto the posts. Lever provided with a roller is fastened to the axis for pressing turns of saw-toothed tape together. Roller is mounted for regulation distances to guide of tension unit. EFFECT: improved efficiency of operation. 7 dwg
