DEVICE FOR CONCRETING SLOPES Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: hydraulic engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has base machine, boom with guides connected to base machine for rotation in vertical plane; working member - concrete mix thrower mounted in guides under boom for reciprocating; device has also receiving hopper and scraper conveyer. Innovation of invention consists in providing the device with scraper conveyer secured to boom from beneath; provision is made for controllable discharge of scraper conveyer in feeding the concrete from receiving hopper to working member - concrete mix thrower; hopper is securely fixed to boom base above scraper conveyer. Conveyer chute is provided with discharging ports in the bottom in which gates are mounted rotatable relative to transverse axes. Concrete mix moved by scrapers over bottom of conveyer chute gets into thrower through discharging ports wherefrom it is thrown by blades of rotary drums to the surface of the slope. Thrower moves in guides along boom from receiving hopper to head portion of boom and closes discharging ports in succession; when it moves in opposite direction, it opens discharging ports, thus forming flow of concrete moving together with thrower in either direction in turn. Upon emptying, receiving hopper gets replenished with concrete with no interruption in concreting process. Concreting procedure is continuous and is controlled by worker who changes in turn direction of motion of concrete mix thrower. EFFECT: enhanced productivity due to continuous placing of cement. 5 dwg
