FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: device for drilling wells includes outer body 1 with upper adapter 2 and lower adapter 3. Arranged inside body 1 is body 4, striker 5 and central air distributing tube 6 attached to saddle 7 in upper box 8. Air hammer is connected with anvil 9 and tool 10. Upper box 8 has hole 10 with lubricating material proportioner 12 communicating with chamber 13 of working stroke of air hammer and annular vessel 14 for lubricant which is formed by air duct 15 secured to box 8 and sleeve 16 and, in its turn, it is communicated through check valve 17 and hole 18 with space duct 15. Installed in upper part of sleeve 16 is moisture separator 19 with deflecting cone and holes for compressed air. Downhole air hammer provides for dry well drilling with subsequent dust suppression with produced water curtain in well. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
