FIELD: heat power engineering. SUBSTANCE: scrubber has dense cross partitions, which divide hermetically sealed water chamber into several lateral sections, and sloping base inclined from outlet port of dust collecting chamber towards its inlet port. Slime removing channel is provided additionally with booster water nozzle directed along the channel coaxially with slime discharge pipeline. Distances between side walls and adjacent precipitating members do not exceed one half of their diameter but are not less than thickness of clearances in outlet sections of tapered holes. If these distances are of maximum value, scrubber is provided with additional nozzles mounted at side walls and directed right down along inner surfaces of dust collecting chamber side walls. EFFECT: improved efficiency. 3 cl, 6 dwg
