FIELD: well drilling. SUBSTANCE: gel-forming compound for bed temporary isolation contains, mas. % : polyacrylamide treated with gamma-radiation 0.40-0.70; ferrochrome lignosulfonate 0.20-1.05; copper sulfate 0.08-0.035; the balance, water. Copper sulfate is dissolved in water. Added to solution is polyacrylamide treated with gamma-radiation. Mixture is tired and let stand for swelling for 1.5 h. Ferrochrome lignosulfonate is introduced in the amount of 0.5-1.5 mas.part.per mas.part of polyacrylamide, and copper sulfonate, in the amount of 0.02-0.05 per mas.part. of polyacrylamide. Compound characteristics: isolation effect is increased by 4-5 times due to improved rheological properties of solution; plastic viscosity is increased by 3-20 times; Bingham yield point is increased by 4-17 times; water separation is reduced by 4-7 times; gelation time reduces by 3-7 times.
