FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: mechanism has a jaw for shifting gearing or toothed clutches of the transmission. The jaw is coupled with a rotatable roller through a double-arm lever. The roller is received in an opening provided in the housing cover of the transmission. The roller is mounted on the cover via a bushing having a pin. In addition, the mechanism has a cover mounted on the cabin floor. An additional rotatable roller is received in the opening of the cover. The additional roller is coupled with the control lever and mounted on the cover via an intermediate compensating member constructed as a rod which is set in the bushings with a spaced relation. Longitudinal grooves, which are perpendicular to each other, are made at the ends of the rod. Inner surfaces of the grooves are in contact with the additional pins of the bushings.
