FIELD: refrigerating engineering. SUBSTANCE: reactor-settler of ammonia refrigerating plant has housing with ammonia vapor and water supply branch pipes, water-and-ammonia mixture discharge branch pipe, level alarms and electromagnetic valves. Reservoir open at the top is arranged in upper portion of hermetic housing. Located in this reservoir are: ammonia vapor and water supply tubes, temperature sensor and sampler. Temperature sensor and sampler are electrically connected with level alarms and electromagnetic valves. Reservoir is used for receiving ammonia vapor in case of operation of safety valves of apparatus and vessels of ammonia refrigerating plant. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 dwg
