SUBSTANCE: hopper has a cylindrical body with a tapering bottom, an air conduit co-axially mounted in the body to form a circular chamber, loading and discharge devices, and tapering louvers arranged in tiers in the circular chamber so that the cone of each preceding tier is directed towards the next one. The louver partitions where they mate with the air conduit and body walls have gaps and closing members, and each pair of partitions facing each other forms a compartment.
