FIELD: medicine; treatment of severe intoxication cases. SUBSTANCE: essence of this process resides in that carbon enteroabsorbent is produced by comminuting carbon fibers to obtain monofibers each 1 to 3 mm long and 30 to 100 mcm thick, wetting these monofibers, treating them with starch gel to concentration of 2 to 6 percent by mass, and finally molding and drying resultant product.
