FIELD: chemical engineering, mining and other industries; cleaning gases from dust. SUBSTANCE: dust separator has housing 1 with inlet branch pipe 2. Secured on outlet end of branch pipe is upper bowl 4 in form of truncated cone and lower bowl arranged below and made up of two inverted truncated cones 5 and 6 installed coaxially and forming, together with upper bowl 4, circular nozzle 7 in form of Venturi tube, circular slot 8 formed at place of mating of lower cones, with upper edge of cylinder 9, movable in vertical direction, arranged in circular slot; upper edge forms clearance for sucking in liquid and clearance in form of Venturi tube to deliver gas. Cylinder 9 has horizontal perforated partition 13 and it rests on housing bottom through spring 10. Clearance for sucking in liquid is formed by parallel walls of upper edge of cylinder and truncated cone 5 of lower bowl. Walls are inclined relative to central axis Upper edge of cylinder 9 has holes for sucking liquid in to gas delivery clearance. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of cleaning. 2 cl, 2 dwg
