FIELD: cleaning gas of dust. SUBSTANCE: dust collector has housing 1 with branch pipes 2 and 3, upper and lower partitions 4 and 5 forming slotted zigzag passage 6, drip pan 7 and device protecting drip pan against choking with sediment; this device is made in the form of scrapers manufactured from coil cylindrical springs. Coils of springs are made from strip steel with sharp edges. At one end springs are secured to plate which is articulated to partition 4. Other end of spring is not secured. Upper ends of tubes 8 are welded to plate which is articulated to housing. Partition 4 is articulated to housing and is provided with return spring 15. At supply of gas, partition 4 turns and pushes springs 9 along tubes 8, thus cleaning them of sediment. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 5 dwg
