WATER CLARIFIER Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: clarification of natural and sewage water. SUBSTANCE: water clarifier has a housing, interconnected pipelines to feed source water and working fluid (water preliminarily saturated with oxygen), trough for accumulation of clarified water, submersible vertical thin-layer modules, near and far (with respect to the direction of water flow) partitions, slime settling trough located between them, devices for removal of slime and sediment. The far partition (with respect to the direction of water flow) extends above the thin-layer modules. The clarifier is provided with and additional slime settling through extending up to the first partition with respect to the direction of water flow. Working fluid is fed to the central part of the clarifier, carries out biocoagulation in it in aerobic conditions and flotationally clarifies water together with gravitational settlement of suspension. Provision of thin-layer modules ensures development of fixed biocenosis working in aerobic conditions. EFFECT: facilitated procedure of water clarification. 2 dwg
