FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is meant for stations controlling mainly three-phase electric motors installed in explosive departments. Gear includes explosion-impenetrable shell, cover attached to shell with bolts or thread, input device with cable terminals, at least one commutator. Gear is fitted with at least one spark-proof control unit which sparking contacts do not require encasement in explosion-impenetrable shell to reduce dimensions and mass. In compliance with conditions of explosion protection it is sufficient to lay conductors of cable is separate bundle and to connect them to terminals of input device separated from the rest with insulation partition. Depending on make gear is provided with units of protection against emergency operational modes which inputs are linked to pickups of information reading.
