FIELD: paint and varnish materials. SUBSTANCE: terpene-maleic resin is esterified with hexitol at 180-190 C for 2.5-3.5 h. After esterification hexitol ester of terpene-maleic resin is subjected for interaction with monoethanolamine at 175-180 C for 1.0-1.5 h. Terpene-maleic resin, hexitol and monoethanolamine were used at the mass ratio = 10:(1.2-1.4):(0.5-0.7), respectively. EFFECT: improved method of resin preparing. 3 tbl
