FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: method of preparing of oligomeric polyesterimide resin containing terminal alkanol groups involves interaction of acidic component - aromatic dicarboxylic acid and/or its derivative, glycol and tri-(2-hydroxyethyl)-isocyanurate taken at mole ratio 1: (1.57-2.66): (1.10-2.05) at 140-200 C in the presence of catalyst following by condensation of formed polyester oligomer. The latter has hydroxyl number 410-530m2/g KOH with 1.07-2.0 mole-equivalent aromatic tricarboxylic acid and/or its dianhydride and 0.538-1.0 mole-equivalent aromatic diamine per 1 mole-equivalent acidic component at 200-210 C up to the preparing of oligomer with hydroxyl number 210-260 mg/g KOH.
