FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: this process prescribes admixing 65 to 166 g urea with 74 to 92 g orthophosphoric acid, introducing about 100 to 174 g sodium tripolyphosphate, 3.2 to 11.6 g starch or sodium salt of carboxymethyl cellulose, 2.5 to 5.0 g salicylanilide and up to 1 l of water into thus prepared admixture, impregnating fabric with thus prepared composition, and finally air-drying fabric. Fabric (calico cloth) has combustibility coefficient of 0.64 to 0.71. This difficultly inflammable fabric (calico cloth) retains its durability after impregnation both in base and weft during seven months of storage in humidity and after 20-min water treatment. Thus impregnated fabric possesses fungicidal properties. Loss of mass of impregnated fabric is 4.5 to 5.0 times lower than that of untreated fabric after exposure to fungous microorganisms during two months. EFFECT: excellent qualities. 2 tbl
