SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to fire retardants and can be used for processing various fabrics of clothing, bedding, furniture upholstery, theater decorations, curtains, carpets. A universal composition for fireproofing of fabric is proposed, containing carbamide, allantoin, sodium hydrogen phosphate and a buffer solution of citric acid and ammophos, and the pH of the solution is 6.9-7.3 units, and its density is in the range of 1050-1300 kg/m3.
EFFECT: creation of a universal composition for fireproofing of fabric, which allows imparting high fire retardant properties to fabrics while maintaining strength properties and giving an additional property - not causing irritation of the skin, as well as expanding the range of means for fireproofing of fabric.
