FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method for stabilization of canal side slopes includes sowing of grass seeds on areas up to appearance of seedlings and then taking the layer of mixture of ground with seedlings by special machine and application of mixture to side slope. Machine has prime mover, ground working tool and thrower with branch pipe and mechanism for control of mix particle flight. Mechanism is distinguished by that it is located at branch pile outer to ensure uniform throwing of ground-grass mixture without damage to seedlings. Mechanism is made in form of battery of curved gates installed for changing their position. EFFECT: reduced terms of appearance of seedlings on side slopes of canals, dams and other structures. 2 cl, 11 dwg
