FIELD: electronics. SUBSTANCE: at discrete inspection of distances to oscillation radiation source, the signals are received at different distances from the source. Then signals are converted into pulse sequences. The distance is determined from time shift between the sequences. Asymmetry of ordinates of measured correlation function is determined additionally relatively its maximal value. Device has two oscillation detectors 3 and 4, two pulse formers 5,6, pulse oscillator 7, frequency divider 8, shift register 9, two OR gates 10, 13, two coincidence elements 11, 12, pulse counter 14, control unit 15, asymmetry measuring unit 16.
