FIELD: agriculture, in particular, stock breeding. SUBSTANCE: this method prescribes feeding medicinal additive including safflower rhubarb grass meal, gradually introducing this additive into ration 4 to 16 days before calving, starting with dose of 0.1 kg/day and terminating with 1.0 kg on calving day, and continuing administration of this dose during post-delivery period. Medicinal preparation feeding period prior to and following calving must be within 39 to 41 days. EFFECT: higher reproductive capacity and shorter period extending from calving to insemination. 1 tbl
