RING-TYPE MEMBERS REMOVER Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: ring-type members remover has collet with through axial hole. Collet has tail end and working part, divided by slots for leaves. In the case following members are located at butt of working part: inside - widening to outside conical part of axial hole, outside - cylindrical fitting surface with ring-type protrusion. Tail end of collet is made with outside threading and has a "turnkey" part. Passed through hole of collet power screw is made as rod with conical surface at one end and threading - at another. Threading end of rod has "turnkey" part. Besides, remover has nut, connected with collet tail end outer threading. The nut has supporting ring-type butt and "turnkey" part. Remover also has supporting body, made in the form of cylinder with hole in bottom, rested at supporting ring-type butt of the nut. Remover is provided with spring cut ring, that embraces the nut. Part of through axial hole in zone of collet tail end has threading, that matches threading of power screw. In the case, members of pair collet - power are made with ratio of dimensions of the remover as follows: α = (8 - 10) ; = 0.042 - 0.052; = 0.76 - 0.78 with α - angle of taper of power screw end, deg; h - collet wall thickness, mm; D - diameter of collet fitting surface, mm; l - length of collet slots, mm.
