FIELD: metalworking.
SUBSTANCE: process equipment for CNC lathes, used for storing parts on an internal cylindrical surface for their turning. A collet lathe chuck contains a shank for fastening in the machine spindle, which goes into a body with an external thread on which a nut is mounted, a collet, a movable rod placed in the cavity of the body and a collet with an outer conical part, where the rod is connected to the nut on the body by means of a pin placed in an annular groove inside the nut and into an oval groove made in the body, while at the end of the body there is an outer conical part, the collet is made of a double-sided expanding collet, and the movable rod in the place of its outer conical part is pinned to one of the sides of the double-sided expanding collet.
EFFECT: expansion of the range of parts processed using a collet lathe chuck with minimal loss of time for installing and removing the part.
