FIELD: hydraulic engineering. SUBSTANCE: method for repair of uncovered section of underground pipeline provides for laying flexible filtering material in form of strip of geotextile with protective coating on top of ground fill of pipeline. Ballast weights are fastened to longitudinal edges of strip. Strip is arranged over pipeline at distance from its axis above and below in direction of water flow determined by the formula given in invention description. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
