FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: shock-absorbing device has bearing plates. A telescopic guide unit is interposed between the plates. The unit is constructed as outer and inner sleeves interconnected through a rubber-cord shell. The bottoms of the sleeves are convex, plate-shaped, and have axial passages. The internal walls of the passages are in contact with cylindric slides which are pivotally connected to the bearing plates. A ring area, which is in contact with the bearing plate, is made on each bottom over periphery of the axial passage. In addition, each bottom is rounded with a radius which exceeds half distance between the bearing plates. The center of the radius is located at the line which is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the guide unit and passes through the line of transition of the ring area to the round. Centering members are interposed between outer and inner sleeves. Ones of the members are secured to the outer sleeve and interact with the inner sleeve. The others are secured to the inner sleeve and interact with the outer ones. Some air-operated shock-absorbers are uniformly arranged about the telescopic guide unit. The housings of the shock-absorbers are secured to the outer sleeve of the guide device, and plungers are secured to the inner sleeve. EFFECT: enhanced shock-absorbing. 2 cl, 3 dwg
