FIELD: anti-fire equipment. SUBSTANCE: smoke-generating charge 9 is mounted into holder 8 when cap 4 is open. Charge has to be ignited and cap should be closed. Fan is turned on, which is connected to rotary sleeve by means of corrugated hose. Smoke stream appears at output of the device. When rotating sleeve 2 relatively case 1, sizes of input holes are changed in edge part of the case as well as size of hole formed by windows 10 and 11. The larger size of input holes, the larger is size of output hole which formed by windows. As a result, constant amount of smoke stream is sustained through hole 14 in diaphragm 13 independently on concentration of smoke in stream. Concentration of smoke may be changed in stream without changing speed of this stream at output of the device. EFFECT: improved reliability of inspection of serviceability. 2 cl, 4 dwg
