FIELD: laundering. SUBSTANCE: method involves the steps of: placing textile articles to be washed into communicating vessels between horizontal grids, feeding washing solution into the vessel up to its center line level, pumping the washing solution from one vessel into another and vice versa with the aid of a reversible pump in self-oscillatory operating mode characterized by minimum energy consumption. Self-oscillatory operating mode is ensured by liquid level sensors mounted in the upper and lower zones from the vessel center line. The position of sensors determines oscillation amplitude of the washing solution and ensures washing process intensity control. EFFECT: improved quality. 2 dwg
