FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: stepping electric motor is designed for discrete electric drives. It includes core-type magnetic circuit made of two identical parts having pole pieces 3 and 4 between which additional permanent magnets 5 with pole pieces 6 integrated with pole pieces 3 and 4 are installed. Magnetic circuit carries two coils of control winding. Magnetic circuit is placed inside hollow rotor with teeth 8 and shoulders 10 which form gap 2-3-fold bigger than minimal gap between teeth 8 of rotor and pole pieces 3 and 4. Successive feed of heterpolar pulses provides for discrete rotation of shaft. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of operation of stepping electric motor. 3 dwg
