FIELD: step electric drives. SUBSTANCE: convertible synchronous reluctance motor has stator with windings placed on magnetically isolated cores , and toothed rotor. Center lines of cores are parallel and symmetric in respect to axis of rotor revolution; centers of pole arcs on ends of different cores of pole shoes are developed through one third of rotor tooth pitch relative to each other and to symmetry axis of rotor teeth. Sense of rotation of rotor depends on moment of control pulse arrival at one of windings. EFFECT: improved design. 7 dwg
