FIELD: pulse equipment. SUBSTANCE: pulse generator has transformer with feedback windings, controlling time-setting circuit on two resistors and one capacitor and source of back bias voltage. Time-setting circuit acts on controlling transistors which control together with source of back bias voltage in their turn processes of switching over of commutating transistors. Transformer of generator is placed in collector circuits of commutating transistors and works under linear mode of change of magnetic inductance of its core. Diode-resistor-capacitor elements providing conditions of soft-excitation and formation of commutation pulses are placed into base circuit of commutation pulses. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of pulse generator over high commutation frequencies, keeping of capabilities for soft self-excitation and for controlled stopping of generation. 2 cl, 2 dwg
