FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: method for mineral underwater mining consists in moving underwater unit by reference point in parallel strips to gather minerals. Boundaries of parallel strips are set by scattering ferromagnetic material. Installed on unit is device for detection of ferromagnetic material and measurement of magnetic field intensity. When unit moves, it sets up boundaries of next strip and of the same time gathers ferromagnetic material on the foregoing strip. Ferromagnetic material is separated from useful mineral for repeated use. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 3 dwg
