AGGREGATE FOR DISPERSIVE MATERIALS DRYING Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: materials drying. SUBSTANCE: aggregate for drying has whirl chamber 1, upper lid 3 of which has charging branch pipe 2, mounted opposite pneumatic pipe 4 with longitudinal conical canals on its side surface. There are two uniformly directed scrolls 6, 7 on outside surface of pneumatic pipe 4, first of which is connected to tangential branch pipe 9 of peripheral stream pouring into whirl dust catcher 10, and second - to its axial branch pipe 13. To increase factor of purification they use streamliner, mounted on exhaust pipe 21 outside. Streamliner is made of conical mandrels 22, 23 with holes, axial line of which is located at level of exhaust pipe 21 lower cut. In operation the most dusted layers of gas from upgoing whirl are through holes sucked out into peripheral stream for coagulation and repeat separation.
